Snyder, who received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania, represents clients including Julie Andrews, Ozzy Osbourne, and AOL Time Warner’s Home Box Office unit. He previously worked for Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and then moved on to the U.S. attorney’s office in New York, where he became the chief of the narcotics division at age 30. He decided to join Parcher, Hayes because “representing entertainment clients sounded a lot more interesting than representing insurance companies.”

These awards, presented in association with the Law Library of Congress, recognize outstanding achievement in legal writing. Her article, “Just a Brief Writer?” which was published in the summer 2003 issue of Litigation, discussed the importance of briefs in the appellate process. A graduate of Western New England Law School, she concentrates her practice in federal and state appellate litigation.

Previously he was president and CEO of Value Vision Media, Inc., where he launched Shop NBC.TV, an Internet video business. “InfoSpace’s strong balance sheet, metasearch applications, consumer Web sites, and its highly–talented employees will translate into attractive opportunities over the next few years,” said Lansing, in a press release. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Wesleyan and a JD degree from Georgetown University.

She is a partner in the litigation and corporate financial advisory services group of the New York accounting firm of Marks Paneth & Schrom. As president, Fierstein will lead the nearly 30,000-member organization in its education, advocacy and recruitment initiatives. She previously served as chair of the organization’s quality enhancement policy committee. She earned her MBA from New York University.

Kennedy Gordon ’83, MD, was included in the May 2008 Black Enterprise listing of “America’s Leading Physicians.” This is the second time he has garnered this honor. Additionally, he was named one of the Top 25 Black Doctors in the tri-state area by the Network Journal magazine in 2002, 2003, and 2005–08. One of the few sports medicine specialists using acupuncture, he is board certified in sports medicine and internal medicine, as well as a certified MD acupuncturist in New York and New Jersey. He was a staff physician at the United States Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, N.Y., during the summer of 2000. He is the medical director for the New Jersey division of USA Taekwondo and medical consultant for their national events. At Wesleyan, he majored in biology and psychology.

He is Asia-Pacific president/CEO of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, which swept the awards, picking up 23 honors and half of all the possible “Campaign for the Year’ top awards. An English major at Wesleyan, he had been in the news business for 23 years before joining Ogilvy three years ago. Prior to that, he was with Dow Jones for 18 years, serving as part of the founding team of The Wall Street Journal Report, as well as founding managing editor of Asia’s first TV news network and as head of news for both CNBC Europe and CNBC Asia.
