CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS MAFFUCCI ’45

CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS MAFFUCCI, an attorney who specialized in zoning and land use issues, died Apr. 3, 2002 at age 78. He was a member of Delta Upsilon and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After receiving his law degree from Columbia University, he practiced law for 40 years, wrote several books on zoning and land use, published a Long Island (N.Y.) weekly newspaper, and founded the Rhodes Review, a legal publication analyzing New York State zoning and land use law and property rights issues. He is survived by his wife, Jean Ginocchio Maffucci, three sons, five grandchildren, and a brother.
